Fashion at the Grammys is by far the most eclectic and out there when it comes to awards shows. Sometimes taking a chance results in an awesome avant garde look, and other times it’s just a sad miss. Check out the highlights from Grammy fashion below, the hits and misses!
Sparkle and shine! Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, Carrie Underwood, and Kelly Osbourne all glitter on the red carpet.
We have to say Taylor and Kelly pull this look off best. Katy manages to make blue hair look dowdy, and Carrie’s white sleeved sequined gown looks a little ice skating ensemble to us.
Carrie Underwood in a Gomez-Gracia number.
Kelly Osbourne in a Tony Ward gown.
The not so little black dress: Rihanna, Adele, and Corinne Bailey Rae give a spin to the LBD. Rihanna falls just this side of edgy instead of slutty. We wish Adele had taken a little bit more of a risk, and would go back to her red hair because the blonde washes her out. Corinne Bailey Rae did Grammy fashion spot on– funky without looking like she got dressed blindly, with only the help of a seeing eye dog to make her clothing choices.
Short and sweet: Malin Akerman and Kate Beckinsale both rock short frocks. I love Malin’s geometric, almost sculptural silhoutte with peplum and the way the lines of her shoes mimic the lines of the dress. Props for Kate keeping the look fun by pairing the look with a high pony, sometimes she can lean towards too pageant looking.
All suited up: props to the dudes for looking so well put together!
Bruno Mars in a perfectly tailored suit with ankle sweeping hems. Love the way he took a risk in the right way!
John Legends best accessory? That adorable smile!
Really don’t know what to say about this one, but anyone who thinks this looks good, is probably seriously visually impaired.
Fergie in Jean Paul Gaultier, no confirmation if the undies are the designer’s as well.
